Will release after some more testing. 18 Mar 2005 - Added a new general-purpose counter function. Counts pulses on the IRQ pin and optionally resets with each transmission.5 Nov 2004 - The free special edition version of Metrowerks CodeWarrior HC(S)08 will now compile the full OpenTracker firmware! 2 Nov 2004 - Timeslotting, status text, GPS data quality, and other features have been added. 2 Aug 2004 - 1-wire weather station support is now working. Radio power control has also been added. 7 July 2004 - APRS Compressed format support has been added to the standard firmware as a configuration option. 26 May 2004 - Here's the first attempt at a fully surface mount OpenTracker prototype. 6 April 2004 - The PCBs are in and kits are now shipping. 4 April 2004 - The firmware license has been changed to remove the non-commercial restriction. The license now fully meets the OSI's Open Source definition. 8 January 2004 - Cold testing completed for regular and LDO configurations. Both worked OK down to about -76 C covered in dry ice. One temperature sensor seemed to give bad readings at around -78 C (it's only rated for -40 C) but recovered just fine when it warmed up a bit. Should be fine for high-altitude balloon use.
